Cuil was just released today as a Google alternative stating that it’s bigger, better and smarter. After a few hours the Cuil was released it’s going down. Seems the people can’t wait to try a better alternative to google and they assaulted Cuil:

Reddit released the code on which the website is based to the open source comunity. The code can be downloaded from http://code.reddit.com/ under Common Public Attribution License. The code can be used in commercial purposes but all the changes must be published.
